Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is based upon measuring co-occurrence factors to ensure a web page is congruent with its subject..

We put together words and phrases that have similar meanings because it's easier to understand what we're trying to say.
AND Because Search Engines use bits of code designed to check for relevance. These Computer Algorithms will tend to give our pages a better score than others where the text does not seem as "well connected".
